Gong Simi Wei: campaign to Promotes the learning of Hokkien dialect
“Gong simi wei” stands for what are you talking in the Hokkien dialect. Through this project I hope to address the problem of the younger generation do not know how to speak dialects. The younger generation are losing their dialects nowadays due to the viral internet culture that they are following instead. I feel that it is important to preserve our cultures and heritage as once these disappear, they will be gone forever.
